Morning Read for June 16, 2010

Movies

Robert Downey Jr. might take over for Steve McQueen on the project he was working on when he died years ago.

TV

Can I handle an all Coldplay episode of Glee? I'm doubting it very seriously. It didn't work with Madonna and it didn't work with Lady Gaga, so why would it work with a shittier band?

I will certainly miss JJ on Criminal Minds and hope that they don't cut back on Emily Prentiss' screen time too much.

Are you ready for Home Shopping Network: THE DEUCE?!

The latest member of Eminem's posse? Vince, the Sham-Wow guy.

Tech

Twitter been giving you issues lately? Expect it to occur off and on for a while...PLUS, you can blame the World Cup, apparently.

Here's the awesome reason why we won't be hearing the trademark Mickey Mouse voice is in the serious Mickey action game, Epic Mickey.

1998 version of me is cheering for a new version of Twisted Metal, even though I won't play it.

Other

Walmart in California is testing out getting rid of all plastic bags. I can't imagine it would work in non-hippie places, like Indiana, but I like the effort.

A million 1990's children are weeping. Capri Sun was found to have mold in it. No recall, though. Mold is part of nature, people, deal with it!

New Jersey can add one more thing to its list of notable junk: The longest red light in the US.
